We will not be able to hold services at our church site for a few months while restoration & cleaning of the Education Building is taking place.

Worship is at 10:45am at Oak Park Retreat Center, 805 E Kirk

--Preschool-Nursery thru Believer's Class (med. adults, 40s)
Sunday School at 9:30am Senior adult classes...Martha & Sr. Men at the Vassar Bldg. 
Worship is at 10:45am at the Vassar Community Bldg. in Territorial Plaza, on N Main

Wednesday: 6:30-7:30pm will be at 124 & 126 S. Main in Perkins
     Bible Study & Prayer and Children & Youth Classes meet 
     Choir Practice is at 7:40pm
     
   On Saturday, April 7, early in the morning (about 5:30am), the day before Easter, lightening struck our sanctuary and by the time Perkins, Ingalls, and Stillwater fire departments arrived it was fully engulfed.  Thanks to a double firewall between the sanctuary and education wing and their hard work, the education wing (first build) was mostly spared.  We are grateful that no one was injured.  The sanctuary is gone, but the Church is alive and well and waiting to see what God has in mind! 
    Immanuel Baptist Church was constituted on Jan. 4, 2004 and began meeting at the Oak Park Retreat Center on East Kirk in Perkins.   Land was donated north of Perkins on 104th street and building began later that year, completing the now Education Wing and we began services with our newly called pastor Bro. Robin Foster on Easter Sunday 2005.  (Interesting!)  The sanctuary was completed in early 2007.
    Special thanks to our Perkins area churches & believers for assistance and prayer, which we continue to covet!
    We did have insurance and are working thru details of concerning cleaning and restoration on the education building and rebuilding of our sanctuary!  We have much work ahead with the help of God's strength and patient assurance we begin to rebuild soon because God has called us to do so!
