Immanuel Baptist Church

Our Pastor, Bro. Robin D. Foster came to us March 27, 2005.  He has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance, from the University of Central Arkansas, Conway, AR, December 1990 and a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages, from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, TX, May 2002.  He is currently studying for his Doctorate of Ministries from SWBTS, Fort Worth.  He and wife Tina, who is a Special Education Teacher in Perkins-TryonJunior High School, have two children, Thomas and Jessica.

     Kole Kennermer is our part-time Music Minister and leads us in spiritually uplifting worship through hymns and praise songs each Sunday.  He directs our choir and congregation in preparing our hearts to hear God's message and is also a gifted pianist and organist.    He orchistrated and helped direct our Ministerial Alliance Easter musical this year made up of churches and individuals in our Perkins area.
     Kole is a student at Oklahoma State University seeking to earn a degree in Hospital Administration.

Our Ministry Assistant/Church Secretary, Claudia Andrews has been with Immanuel Baptist Church since its constitution.  She has credentials of training through the Southern Baptist Convention as a credited Ministry Assistant.  She serves as a volunteer in this position.  She and husband Bennett, who serves as church treasurer, are retired and have three grown children and five grandchildren.

Claudia also serves as our Youth Director and works together with the Youth Committee and other youth leaders to provide discipleship, activities, Falls Creek, D-Now, YEC, and Planet Wisdom events for our youth to "grow them up in Jesus!"

Bro. Ed Anderson is a retired pastor (if there is such a person!).  He and his wife, Reva, became part of our Immanuel family in February 2011.  They bring many talents and gifts as they serve with us.  He (& Reva) have pastored in Colorado, Chicago, and California before retiring here.   Bro. Ed not only brings his many years of pastoral and biblical knowledge, but his talent to play the piano.  He serves our worship as our pianist and became our Disciplship Training Director in June. 

Richard McCullough is our volunteer Sunday School Director.  He and wife Debbie have two grown children and seven grandchildren.  Richard has worked with coordinating our Sunday School classes and teachers and currently teaches  the College/Career Sunday School class.  Richard works with the 24/7 Youth AWANA program on Wednesday evenings.  He also leads the Wednesday evning youth group during the summer.

 Our Children’s Director, Wilma White serves as a volunteer in this position and is responsible for the activities and ministries of the children’s department, working with the Children’s Committee.  She is also our Children's Church Director.  She works with student loans at Oklahoma State University.  She and husband, Kenneth, currently persuing a degreee in Horticulture at OSU, have two children, Mandy and Nathan.

Our AWANA Commander, Misti Overfelt, leads this program as a volunteer and is responsible for leading the directors and leaders of the clubbers and maintaining the materials needed for the program.  She begins her first year as Commander following in the steps of former commander Barbara Driskel.  Misti and husband Josh have 3 sweet, active children.  She is a stay at home mom and Josh is a salesman for Sudden Link.  They both are members of the Encourager's Sunday School class.
